What is Earth 2?
Earth 2 is a metaverse project headquartered in Australia. It has virtual tiles that are tied on a 1:1 geolocational scale to real world Earth 1. A 3D world is expected to launch in 2024, with AR aspects to be introduced further in the future.
On June 2, 2022, Earth 2 sold over 100,000,000 (100 Million) tiles. Driven by a strong, helpful, inclusive and diverse community, this monumental achievement was reached within just a year and a half after Earth 2 launching. Per discord and other conversations with the CEO and Founder Shane Isaac, the funding from tile and other sales allows Earth 2 to launch its crypto token “Essence” on the blockchain without needing an ICO. Essence will only be gained through the metaverse experience itself, rather than on an exchange. Earth 2 is still relatively unknown, but can become a powerhouse should it become mass adopted.
