The Metaverse Fashion Week 2023 (#MVFW23) in Decentraland was a groundbreaking event that showcased the latest trends and designs from some of the biggest virtual fashion brands along with a focus on interoperability. The week-long event was highlighted across various platforms, including the Sandbox and Spatial.
One of the most exciting aspects of the event was the presence of the Gossape Girls, who were a delightful addition to the event. Brands like Dolce & Gabbana, Tommy Hilfiger, COACH, adidas, DKNY, Vogue Singapore, Monnier Paris, DUNDAS, and community designers all took part in the event, using cutting-edge technology to create stunning, one-of-a-kind designs that pushed the boundaries of what is possible in the metaverse. Plenty of wearables and NFTS were available for attendees to purchase or collect. One of the standout features of this year’s event was the focus on interoperability. This year the MWFW23 constituted the first major multi-platform metaverse event, one which took place across multiple, interconnected metaverse worlds.
